Mit der Hilfe einer alten Freundin spärt Lara Croft einen Tempel auf in den Bergen Ägyptens, wo sie mehr Informationen über Atlantis finden zu können glaubt. Bei Ankunft am Tempel jedoch finden sie heraus, dass weit mehr dahinter steckt, als gedacht, und dass viele andere daran interessiert sind, was unter dem Tempel verborgen liegt.
